Moller’s Omega-3 Forte is a blend of high quality cod liver oil and fish oil in a 1: 3 ratio. There are two types of fish oils, those derived from the liver of fish, such as cod liver oil, and those derived from their flesh. All fish oils are rich in vitamin E and polyunsaturated fatty acids of group Omega 3. Omega 3 fatty acids belong to the beneficial polyunsaturated fats and are divided into two categories, alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), which is naturally present in plant foods such as flaxseed and eicosipentanoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), contained in fish. Norwegian cod liver oil and Moller’s fish oil are produced from wild fish and not from fish farms and are in the form of non-synthetic natural triglycerides for high absorption by the body (up to 98%). They are processed within 24 hours from the moment of capture.
